What is being said:

Stephen Tobin's first solo exhibition at Agora Gallery in NYC, the natural instincts of nature, is by far one of the most fascinating photography exhibits that we have presented at our gallery.

Mr. Tobin has the instinctual acumen of a bird in flight. His ability to see the extraordinary among ordinary surroundings astounds and delights his growing audience. Stephen is a true wander on this earth, as he does not seek out anything in particular; instead, I sense that his inner compass allows him the freedom to genuinely see the beauty that is all around us. He fully understands that nature has its own instincts and invites us to follow the path of its creation.

This is the Cover of the Catalog from my Solo Show in New York. Seems like it was just yesterday.

Stephen Tobin and his photography is a true pleasure to work with. As the designer and publisher of his upcoming book "Overlooked," it makes my job a thousand times more satisfying to have such excellent and insightful photography to create with. His gentle and inquisitive spirit shines through each image.

He spent one week in the city I have lived in for eight years and showed me entirely new aspects of it. Truly surprising.

This is a book of 3 poems I wrote with photos accompanying each line. The project was inspired by my time in New York City.

As Coordinator of the week-long Pierscape Arts Festival, it has been a privilege to have an artisan such as Stephen Tobin show his magnificent metal prints. His work surpasses any expectation I had, his use of color, creativity and content allows one to become "part" of the scene. The color first catches your eye and as you go closer to examine the piece it "magically" changes before your eyes and suddenly your engaging another element of the print you never noticed and the colors seem to change with your own movement. The texture of the print engulfs your curiosity and as one gentleman pointed out to me on his visit to our gallery, Stephen's work was calling him to touch and my DO NOT TOUCH sign was almost meaningless because the urge to touch and feel the texture was too strong.

Our Art Exhibit is unique because it takes place in a school gymnasium and therefore we get to witness first hand the expressions not only of the adults that go through the exhibit, but also the children who are fascinated by Stephen's work. When I asked a little boy, about 6 or 7 what his favorite piece was in the show, he took me by the hand and led me to Steven's Eagle and said" I Likes this one!" The colors are captivating and Steven's work is truly remarkable.

‐ Lynn Moore, Festival Coordinator

This is the first Award I ever received for my Photography. It was an amazing experience.

Stephen Tobin's photography is distinguished by its great variety of subject matter, which clearly reflects a restless and inquiring mind. His work is also technically excellent. The one common element that permeates all of it is a sensitivity the beauty that can be found everywhere, from the most impressive landscapes to the smallest detail, and a certain poignancy. We are proud to have Steve as a participant in our series "International Masters of Photography".

I was so excited to be invited to participate in the “International Masters of Photography Vol 2 and Vol 3”. To be chosen for inclusion was amazing!
